  1. Before the meeting started was the presentation of £300 cheque to Angelo Massos a trustee from the ‘Care for Kids North Devon’ charity group. He gave a short talk about how the charity started, what its aims are, the children they care for, the grants they provide for families with sick children, provide help to the Caroline Thorpe children’s ward and how they raise the money to do all these things. The largest being the 10K run around Barnstaple in July.

.All alleys were represented.

.The minutes of the previous AGM were read and signed as being a true record.

.There were no matters arising from the minutes of the last meeting.

.In his report the Secretary said he would like to start by saying thanks to everyone who helped my wife Helena after her terrible accident after Final’s Day had finished, she was still attending the Medical Centre to have her dressings changed after 7 weeks. On a brighter note, he said it was a successful day and congratulated all the winners, especially Hot Rods who became the champion runner-up team from division 4 and Frithelstock A who won the Jubilee Cup from division 5. There was no luck for our teams at County Finals Day but hoped for better things at the Open Finals Day at Torquay FC the following Saturday.

.The treasurer said that lowering the entry fee to £30 was just right as we still have £218 in the bank. It would have been more but for the first batch of engraving costing us £195. After that he changed to a different engraver and the second batch cost us £90.

.The adoption of the accounts was proposed by Mark Milton and seconded by Chris Bulled, all were in favour.

.Mark Milton took over as President and Simon Shackson was elected Vice-President. Sec/Treas agreed to carry on. The committee had lost two of its members with the resignation of Colin Ellis and Richard Watson, but Simon Edwards and Jason Smith volunteered to take their places. The secretary said he was sorry to lose them and thanked them for their help over the years.                                                                                                                                                   9.The start of the season would be11th September.

.It was decided to keep the entry fee at £30 per team.

.Neil Doble told the meeting that four different teams had arrived with only five players against them last season and asked what the correct procedure should be. He was told that the committee would discuss Rule 3 in a meeting after the AGM was over.

There being no other business the meeting was closed.
